Gold Coast Knights have come away with another victory in the NPL Round 7 clash against Redlands United.

In tough conditions, the Knights took the two-goal lead in the first half, with Cai Tipaldo opening the scoring from the penalty spot.

A well worked goal saw Curtis Stollery bag his first for the club against a Redlands United team who haven’t had the best of starts in 2021.

As the rain continued to pour down throughout the second half, Redlands snuck a goal in from Santana to make for an interesting finish at the Croatian Sports Centre.

However, rain would influence the match in the end, with play abandoned before the 90 minutes were up with the Knights taking all three points.

The Knights now turn their attention to the Gold Coast derby where they take on Gold Coast United at Coplicks Family Sports Park.

Kick off is scheduled for 6:30pm next Saturday evening.
