In one of the most important transfers in the 2020 campaign, experienced NPL Queensland forward Jheison Macuace has kicked off the season with a bang.
Having scored goals in the opening three matches of the campaign, Macuace’s impact for the Knights has been second to none, with his creative capabilities and flare in the front third filling the void left from last season.
For Macuace, his journey at the Knights so far has been nothing but a positive experience.
“I have been really happy here from the first day I got here. Everyone from the club, staff and players have made me feel really welcome and it has been a pleasure being part of the whole set up,” said Macuace.
With the Knights holding a perfect 4-0 record to begin the campaign, Macuace said his side have only one goal in mind.
“We want to win every game we play. I’ve been lucky in my career here in Queensland to have success in all four clubs I’ve played for so far, so my mindset is exactly the same at Knights.”
With a flying start to the campaign, Macuace knows that his role in the team is to ensure that the front third is looked after in any way possible.
“My goal is first to win but personally to try score as many as possible to help us achieve our goals for 2020. So far everything is going to plan, so hopefully we can continue how we started,” said Macuace.
The Knights will look to keep their unbeaten run alive when they host Moreton Bay United at the Croatian Sports Centre this Saturday the 14th of March at 6:30pm.
